I think this boss needs to be looked at again. I've done everything I could from the guides and help, but I still can't beat her. The constant dog spawning and the almost one-shot kill arrows make this fight annoying not fun or challenging. Each boss before this I was able to think of a way to defeat them whether it was changing armor or combat style etc. But none of that works here. This feels like it's almost driven by dumb luck.

Edit: I did finally beat her but it is exactly as I said pretty much dumb luck. I just rushed her with no plan other than to dodge dogs and beat the ever-living crap out of her. To me, that just takes the fun out of the boss fight.

Don't see the problem. Got her first try, just kill the dogs as they spawn and you will never get overwhelmed, and killing the dogs is easy since her attacks are almost all ranged and very slow.

I'd kill the dogs and get maybe one or two hits, then she'd spawn more. It was different every time one time she ended up having more than two extremely fast. When I finally killed her she had two the whole time even though I didn't kill them. So I don't know she's a weird boss. I ended up just putting on light armor that had good holy and bleed prot just rushed her ignoring dogs dodging them and just wailing on her. I've seen other people who have trouble as well.

The method I used was two handing a mangler axe buffed with minor wither salts, but any of the damage buff salts should work. 2hing the one axe prevents it from bouncing off the dogs, you break through their faceplate. Should be able to easily kill the dogs in 2 hits and this gives you plenty of time to hit the boss before she resummons them.

Killing the dogs is impossible without parrying them since your sword straight up just bounces off their heads lol

Took a couple tries but I got her by taking off all armor so I was super light and fast. Run to the right draw the dogs away from her then hit her a couple times then run away. Rinse and repeat until she dies but it is a really dumb fight

lol, another one.

My dude just kill the dogs, they have barely any HP and there's a delay before more of them spawn during which you can rush down the boss. Hell, you could probably just bumrush the boss while ignoring the dogs because their AI is wonky and at times they just hang out, I know that some people did just that and killed her first try.

Some of you are really just making this fight harder for yourselves.

Literally the easiest fight so far. This NPC is not even a boss. Just spam light attack dogs, then kill boss. It's easy to dodge arrows

Run in a circle, and when she kneels and sets the bow down run in and hit her with a heavy attack and dodge out three times. You can just walk and dodge the arrows. Dont kill the dogs dodge the dogs when they leap at you.

I just rushed her, ignored the dogs other than to dodge them, no armour removal, no crazy tactics, just wailed on her until she smoked then made some space and zerged her again side stepping her arrows as I barrelled toward her.

She really wasn't hard at all, use dodges on doggo attacks, smack her in the face, and remember to imbue your weapon.

4 Tries on Her. 4 Tries on Congregator(I don't know why I see vids and streams with People struggling on him). I buffed my weapon before each. You should have the Blacksmith by then She's on the way. Secretly still playing. Don't tell anyone...

I had huge problems with her, until I came here and saw this. 2-handing the Raw Mangler axe and imbuing the weapon with fire salts did the trick. Got rid of the dogs very fast, and then also Gaverus melted away very fast. She seems to be very vulnerable to fire! :D
