Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
RAM: 32GB
And it's installed on an SSD.
Worse case scenario could be a sign your hardware is failing, CPU, RAM, motherboard or PSU.
I usually consider the worst scenarios like those you mention, however I never got this error on any other game. Besides, although I frequently get this error on online sessions, a friend of mine also gets it, really rarely though.
The problem remains in coop.
It's more stable but it still crash, not frequently as before tho.
Searching on the web seems a problem of Unreal Engine and DirectX 12, not fixed since the start of the year.
PC Specs:
CPU: 7800X3D
GPU: 6700XT
RAM: 64GB
This. Unreal Engine 5 + DirectX 12 is unstable as is but ESPECIALLY on AMD cards. They need to adress the issue. Only thing LOTF 2 devs can do is minimize the crashes by optimizing as best they can but they will probably remain until AMD fixes their drivers to run properly with Unreal Engine 5/ DirectX 12 combo
I've played more than 2 hours straight before this comment.
I guess you should give a try, hoping that you didn't tried earlier.
Edit: nevermind guys it crashed this morning while opening a Umbral drop with lamp.
I guess yesterday I was lucky
I've not touch this game in over a week, just started the game today and got the same error, playtime from last crash must have been around 10hrs. So I was wrong, it was nothing to do with my undervolt. It appears to be this game and AMD GPU related, I've notice I will get the crash more often in Umbra or when new effects or assets/effects are used or loaded in but not always.
No crashing in other UE5 games, Remnant 2 or Talos Principle 2 demo.
