Mmm, it'sh shooo big, shlurp
Turn off DLSS and turn on DLAA. Game looks awesome and with FG turned on i get constant capped 144 FPS in ultrawide WQHD with a 4090.
Its not Cyberpunk-Level of graphics but around what the demon souls remake looked like and that is already a big upgrade from Elden Ring or DS3.
Its not, only DLAA is improvement. DLSS always comes with a downgrade to resolution.
DLAA gives you the same benefit and even superior AA while you keep your native resolution.
The ONE place where I will admit the game is lacking is character faces (at least the human ones). They look very low quality (like most FromSoft games) but for 99% of the game your not close enough to really see the flaws so it barely impacts the visual aspect at all..
You probably have an advantage over 90% of people trying to play this so I doubt this would do much for anyone that doesn't have a 40 series.
I run 3080 at 1440p and get roughly 60-100 fps. Dips every now and then but I just can't stand the stupid micro stutters. But whatever, I'm probably going to refund anyway the combat feels SO FLOATY, it really is bothersome.
Yes of course DLSS is a good take if your hardware cant handle DLAA, i was just correcting the take that DLSS is "the way" to enhance AA. Because it only is if your hardware can not handle native res. Thats the whole point of upsampling.
I really like the combat so far. It doesnt reach DS/ER level exactly, but its close enough for me to enjoy the game more than enough. But each to their own. :)
