Yeah I know, as I said this is a problem with Unreal Engine games, I have this exact problem with Fortnite with my current GPU too.
But what makes no sense, is the fact loads of people have this exact issue but no one has a proper fix??
After doing some research, with the help of @necuz as he pointed me towards the forums.
It seems to be related to the CPU.
The fix that worked for me was to severally unclock my CPU.
I went from 5500Mhz down to 3000Mhz just to see if I could get past the loading screen, and it worked first time.
So now I'll just slowly up the frequency to the highest that's playable.
Most people suggested a -2 ratio and obviously I went down by -25 lol just to see if it worked.
So underclock your CPU and it should work!
I don't get it.
You and I have the same RAM size, just you're at 7000 (you sure this isnt 7200 mhz) while I'm at 2x24GB 8000. I Just have an 'updated' 13900k, and RTX 3090 FE, and my Nvidia driver is 7 months old yet I had no problems getting into the game, making a character and starting (even supports inverted Y axis!). How are you getting an out of VRAM error?
Is your windows up to date? I'm using windows 11 with the latest cumulative update.
I'm on Nvidia driver 531.29 but try the new one 537.58.
*EDIT* nvm you fixed it apparently.
Second game telling me this in two days (the other one was the demo of robocop game)
