First loading screen frozen after character creation

Hello,
The game always crashes at first loading screen after creating his character.
Tried several solutions : admin mode on, windows 8 compatibility on, games files checked.
My reg is 3080, i5 7600k, 16go Ram. I have tried low graphic settings, but still crashing.

I have no error message, just the loading screen which is frozen. I have to quit the game from task manager.

So it isn't crashing then.

I am not sure if there is a shader compilation process at startup.
if it is, it's likely going to take ages on your underspecced CPU that is an absolute bottleneck to your graphics card.

And again, which loading screen ? EAC ? The game ?

Yes this issue is in game, i'm talking about the first load just after creating his character.

Mine doesnt crash, just freezes while loading. I was able to get past the character creation loading screen just once. Then it's been freezing on the 1st loading screen ever since. The one time I managed to get in game, it ran good tho, so idk if its my pc.

Same issue here brother. You're not going to get any help from anyone here. There's no crash report because it just freezes so it's not like anyone can help. I'm on my 15th try at character creation. I'm trying to find a work around, and will be back to you if I find a solution!

Same but lowering setting from ultra to high fixed it, changed to ultra and no other crashed after that

Its some kind of problem with loadings, everytime i make it to the game and i get loading i know its gonna freeze and crash.. its unplayable..

I had the same problem, I got the game to load past character creation by locking frame rate to 23 FPS in NVIDIA Control Panel. It seems like it's a frame rate thing, for whatever reason.

Does not work, still freezes on loading a game.
