Playstation controller icons

I am playing with a ps4 controller and the game is showing controls for xbox (y button, a button, etc.) Is there any way to set it to show playstation layout? I am not seeing any options in game for it.

How did you have your controller working? - Mine is not even responding. I'm on a PS5 controller. Just checking in Sekiro to make sure its not the controller and its not. Is there a setting to turn it on somewhere in the menu? - Also FYI, any game I ever played on PC always has xbox icons, there is no way around it. Its just how they are set up to support it seems.

If you go to game Properties -> Controller and disable Steam Input, the game should be able to use the native PS4 controller library to connect to your controller, but only if it's plugged in via USB (won't work with wireless)

With Steam running, wire your dualshock controller to your PC and Steam should detect it. After that you can remove the wire and connect using BT if your PC has BT. I think thats all I did to get BT working.
Also some games to detect dualshock controllers and auto swap the UI. I think Wild Hearts was the latest example I played that did that.

i've tried disabling Steam input but game still shows Xbox icons

yes same for me, "Steam Input" is disabled but still a Xbox btns in game

Same issue here. DS4 controller with cable - Steam Input is disabled and it still shows Xbox icons

I tried everything I've seen in guides (disabling in game properties etc.) but it's still showing XBox buttons.....quite annoying >-<

Seems like only DS4 has this problem. I tried to connect PS5 controller via USB and the PS button prompts suddenly appeared. When I switch back to DS4 it goes back to Xbox icons. Unfortunately when I connect either controller via BT, it does not show PS icons so the only option atm is to use DS5 via USB... :/

Microsoft shoves their garbage down our throats and it has been this way for years now. I will never touch MS trash controllers and will always use much superior DS.

I just adapted to knowing what buttons to use on my DS4 with SH itBOX promts. I really despise Microsoft.

Dualsense wireless here, xbox icons instead of the ps ones. if the game can't auto-detect it then just add a option in the setting menu so people can choose their layout. can't be so hard.

This game has so many issues. I like it a lot and don't regret getting it because it's fun but a lot of issues nonetheless.
