Anyone running it in a GTX 1660 (vanilla, super or TI)? How's the performance?

on the 1660 super you can get it to about 60 fps on medium graphics with fsr on.

Yep, I bought the game anyway and expected the best, luck me I didnt have any trouble, I'm running custom settings (from low to ultra), 50% resolution, no FSR, decente graphic quality, stable 60 fps. Mine's 1660 TI.

I doubt you need to buy a new PC, sometimes some specific hardware combinations or software configurations can lead to poor performance or crashes in new games. It's 100% game's "fault", don't worry about your 1070, you good for 1080p@60 fps.
Wait for more patches, the game totally worth it.
