Did you install Microsoft DirectX End User Runtimes Redistributable June 2010 ? (an optional DX component package containing amongst other things latest Xinput, XAudio, etc.)
Those are pre-requisites.
thanks for your reply. Im on windows 11, on hp omen 15. I had this issue with elden ring and if i remember correctly, it just started working after many many tries and runs no problem now so idk what to do here other than wait for a solution or try endlessly
I have the pc knowledge of a console player lol I've never heard of those. I play on an HP Omen 15, windows 11, updated drivers, can run Elden Ring and Hogwarts legacy etc no problem
also no messages pop up to explain what the issue is, the loading screen just simply disappears after waiting for game like nothing happened :p
So:
In Power Manegement in Windows, set Power Plan to High Performance.
In your video card control panel (Nvidia Control Panel or Radeon Settings depending on what you have), in Manage 3D settings set the graphics card power to Prefer Maximum Power or something (it differs per each vendor so I suggest you google this for your specific graphics card).
Download & install MSVCR 2022 x64 and x86 using the official Mcirosoft link:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022
Download & install DirectX Redist (June 2010) using this Microsoft link:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
Alternatively you should be able to find both in your PC in "..\SteamApps\Common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\" directory in case you do not tust these links.
Then we go from there.
