Bugged controls in menus with Joycon

So i use a Joycon to play bc they are easier on my hands make them hurt less the game itself plays fine but i keep getting double cursors and menus do not want to be navigated I had to switch to mouse just to be able to select options in the character creator is there any way i can fix this?

I have same with xbox controller. I can't even start the game from main menu, pressing A button does nothing

I have the exact same issue with my xbox controller trying to play. Have to keep my mouse right beside me. Ridiculous.

I guess that's what they meant by partial controller support. Pretty poor for a game like this where controllers are popular though.

i Stuck at Start, can't controll with Keyboard or Controller...

Me too. Have to use mouse to navigate title screen menu. No big deal. Sure it'll be fixed soon.

Its with all the menus for me not just the title screen its so strange bc the game combat plays fine its all the menu navigation thats wonky

Yeah I could try combat fine if I started the game using mouse but then if I try to select my equipped weapon from inventory it will unequip and then I can't equip it anymore with A button, I have to use the mouse to do it. I guess it is better to wait for the patches

For games (not specific to Lords of the Fallen 2023) that have partial controller support, there is often an input or UI in the game that requires keyboard input.

Unless that UI has a soft keyboard that can navigated with the gamepad, the entire game can get marked as partial controller support.

And specific to LotF 2023, it sounds like there will be a lot of tweaking to be done IF there is a solution via Steam and the game. (or worse case, some other type of gamepad emulation until there is a fix).

I tried switching from xbox controller to PS4 controller, same issue

same issue - it's like it's trying to select two menu options at one time (two options are always highlighted) so when I press A on my XBOX controller it just does nothing (probably because you can't select 2 things at one time). Scene skipping and combat\movement works fine but menuing requires a mouse for me.
