Denuvo NOT confirmed
There is no DRM in LOTF unless they add it in at the last minute.

For proof, go to the store page and look at the Lords of the Fallen EULA and more specifically this part

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND MONITORING
4.1 Minimum Requirements. Lords of The Fallen has minimum requirements depending on your chosen device/system/platform, which you will be notified of on the applicable LOTF store page. Please make sure you meet these requirements before purchasing the Game. There is no DRM or copy-protection of any kind in Lords of The Fallen, but some device/system/platform manufacturers use security technology which is outside of our control.

Its denuvo anti-cheat not the normal anti-tamper. I would assume they're still supposed to list that on the page but I'm not sure.

The developers confirmed earlier that Denuvo wouldn't be used, so they may be talking about anti-cheat software there. Regardless, it's pretty cool that they put that in the EULA; I'm going to support the hell out of this game.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't know how effective anti-cheat stuff is from this company, but when people say "Denuvo" everyone takes it to mean the anti tamper stuff, which is considered to be quite intrusive and is why a notice about its inclusion is usually posted on the store page. I don't know much about the AC but simply from the nature of how that would work compared to AT, it's far less of an issue than the AT.

That part is problematic because while it initially implies that they won't even use the ubiquitous Steam DRM... the second part muddies the water by implying there could be platform related protection measures. Afaik, whether to implement Steam's DRM or not is to at the developer's discretion so this will need to be clarified before release, ideally.

While I'm already glad there's no Denuvo, a completely DRM-free game would be great, although not even that uncommon on Steam. :clickbutton:
