LOng and difficult path to boss with no vestige

Down through the tower of Pennence and then you have to fight a boss and theres not a single vestige to save at unless you have seeds which I am out of. I am level 83. MY main weapon takes me for 3 hits to kill a sniper to 4 hits to kill those mace guys. And many more to kill the elites which I usually use my magic on. Its getting super frustrating since I only managed to make it to the boss twice and have lost. I could probably kill him pretty quickly if I could mange to make a save shortly before.

A seed costs 1200 at molhu.
Or you can farm them from the umbral moths.

option 1 : save enough for a seed , buy a seed at Molhu's shop , go all the way down to the boss (even if it take you multiple try) use your seed just before the boss.
option 2 : save enough for multiple seeds ,buy multiple seeds at molhu's shop use a seed before a hard part , progress carefully until you can use the next seed.

go to the belltower vestage and kill the bell heading looking guy a couple times (reset him with vestage) this is where i farmed alot of levels go back to molhu and buy a seed
