I see a lot of people with different crashes, there might be a universal fix
If you have an old gpu that we cannot help you.

In my case, you won't believe that my set up also crashed a lot from the get-go, I have:
an OC rtx4090
i9-14900K
Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE X WIFI 7 ATX MB
32GB DDR5 7200mhz ram

Fix: simply Change your bios back to standard mode I had mine overclocked and tuned, even at the standard setting I was still pumping high fps with ultra settings on everything.

I know, it sucks you have to change bios to standard just for this game, but it works very well and have not had one crash or fps drop since, 110 hours in.

How do I actually change my bios back to standard mode in windows 11?

lmfao game is trash if you need to go into your bios to make the game playable. You shouldn't have to tune your computer or tune it back to default in order to play a game... just rediculous

I hear you, my thought too. But I never say to a souls game, especially with so much trash out there last year only good game came out of last year was remnant 2 and lies of P, then you have 'woke' developers and a suffocating monopoly, support the underdog studios.

playing this game is like having a kid for the first time.. you curse your self for having to go through the process the first time, but as it is all worth it at the end..

No way I am doing this just for one badly optimized game. Bad advice.
People with NASA gear who can't handle a game running smoothly with a 2070s lol.

hey man, it fixed all my issues don't grill me just giving a fix out here.. it worked for me and my mate, and it was worth it for me because I am at 110+ hours still in my first run it is worth it for me, some might feel the same way.

cant remember, yours might be different you will have to look it up.. for me I think I hit del to enter bios, F7 to load defaults, went to tweaker tab to load xmp profile and set performance to default/standard

I have my bios over clocked for competitive fps games. So to restart my computer in default settings for 1 game is not worth it. Now Lords of the fallen is a great game so far but it's just silly they can't optimize the game to run on older equipment and leave it at that so the new hardware can just kill the graphics and physics with everything on Max settings so we big spenders can really appreciate our rigs

It really all depends on your motherboard, just restart the computer and on the first screen it will say it on the bottom what to press. If you miss that window to press that button then just restart the computer again. Rinse and repeat until you get into BIOS

I agree but they could have made the game at least not crash on super computers, I'm running a Radeon 6900xt with a ryzen 9 7900x3D over clocked pushing 5.5hz on processing

of it took me a few seconds my guy it really is no big deal I just saved myu boosted profile I have opne too and loaded the default. but I have such a high end rig I only go back to boosted xmp profile when I am playing comp on fps gaming to get what ever advantage I can gain.
I am sure they will patch these issues soon, remember the launch of witcher 3? holy moly we hated it but its still one of the best games today after perf issues were patched.
