Missing remembrance? (Tancred)

Just wondering if my game save is screwed, I defeated Tancred and did the lore stigma in the umbral (multiple times, reloaded area, reloaded game, etc) but it just will not trigger the remembrance for me? When i go to the remembrance store it just says "Investigate the stigma left at the last known location of Tancred, Master of Castigations"

Just had that happen, too. Went back and let it all play out, worked. Seems that running out of the area, or using a (temporary) vestige would cancel the script and not reward the remembrance.

Unfortunately that doesnt work for me, did it a few times again to be sure. Validated the games files and tried again, the game just falsely flagged that it gave me the remembrance.
