Shared COOP not working

A friend and I played over 10 hours in shared co-op. He owns the game, and I'm using Friend's Pass. We never played separately—only together—so our progress is identical. Since yesterday, I simply can't connect to him in shared mode. The password is the same, and the connection process is exactly the same as before when everything worked. But nothing happens—it just keeps searching for the host indefinitely and that's it.

Any ideas how fixed this mess? Maybe developers prepeare fix or something?

Check your guys vestiges and compare them. One of you is probably missing some and it's bugged your game. Who ever is the client(non host) will be missing some. Sadly there's no way to fix it even if you run through the areas and get the missing vestiges.
Choices are either to start the run over again or share saves of the person who has all the vestiges up to where you guys were before. You'll need to recustomize your character at the mirror and respec it to fit your build. Only fixes I've found so far, nothing from the devs about a patch to fix this issue.

Same here, I played with a friend for about the same number of hours and now nothing works. We don't play separately, only in co-op, so I don't really understand what the problem is.

uninstalled the game cuz of this, we reached the last part of the game and then it decided to bug out. more than 2 years of promised seemless coop and still doesnt work
