PSA nvidia to use latest DLSS model (4)
I have just gone through a whole world of CPU overheating pain moving to the new model as the game is now locked at 165FPS @ 1440p for now having switched to the new model in nvidia app (this is with framegen also btw).

lovely and unexpected perf boost basically as was usually juddering between 100-130/40 ish with DLSS 3 I think.

First of all, I wonder what internal resolution you are playing at, secondly, it is unusual to get MORE fps with DLSS4 and preset K, because it looks better but at the cost of fps.

He said 1440p.
If you meant what scaling he is using, no idea, probably quality.
Ray Reconstruction would be awesome with performance, more fps, but pretty close to DLAA in terms of image quality, Star Wars Outlaws and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 being examples of that.

I see 1440p. I assume thats his monitor resolution. Therefore I ask for the internal rendered (then upscaled) resolution...

So yes, 165fps sounds like 720p
DLSS used to look worse than TSR upscaling. Insane amount of dis-occlution garbel and pixelation. Transformer model looks way better! Still too sharp, but that's the base games issue...
Performance mode looks really good at 4k output. Used to run with 65% TSR resolution scaling.
Better image quality and better performance with tansformer model preset K at performance setting(1080p).

DLAA at 1440p - it's pretty much locked at 165FPS - all settings on max. frame gen on.

on a 4090 and i9 13900KF

after sorting a few things out on my mobo settings all is well again (it was boosting to 100C pretty much instantly once the fps were higher)

Yes, nice one :-)
Please remember to add DLSS4 support to the PC Game Pass version too
I can confirm this! I play on 1440p, with everything turned up the max and, in the nvidia app changing it to use the latest model gives me 20 to 30 frames more than before.
