Free co-op partner isn't getting health or lamp upgrades

This only starting happening after the last update, for example when I went to get an item that was an upgrade for sanguinarix it gave them an unripe berry or something of that nature, is this a way to try and force free players to buy the game? Because this wasn't happening when we initially played.

We have tested this 3 times. My sanguinarix is level 4 there's is only level 2, my lamp is level 2, there's is level 1, we have fully been playing together on seamless (Tested thoroughly to make sure it wasn't casual co-op) and they STILL aren't getting these items.

Are you using a password? If you aren't, then you aren't doing shared coop. If you're too far in to start over I can just give you those items.

so if we didnt set a password for awhile we werent syncing our progress? so now were stuck in casual co-op and cant shared progression play? is that what you mean

You have to Beckon Player rather than Beckon friend with a password
