My game keeps crashing is this common? Just randomly crashes. I do have youtube up when I play surely that can't be causing the crashes

It can crash for a number of reasons. Mine crashes because I'm a dummy too lazy to install my spare SSD for high demand games like this. Yes, it does run on HD, but it is... slow to start.

One thing I suggest is to start with an update n your graphics card. It's easy to do, and surprisingly solves a lot of issues. Also, check websites like "can you run it" to ensure your computer is also up to snuff with a game like this.

Try offline mode as well, and run checks on your processor. I'm not sure, but I could imagine things without at least a quad core might cause issues.

For me it started to constantly crash after updating GPU drivers yesterday. I see a lot of problems with the latest Nvidia GPU driver on their forums, people saying that many other games crashes too. Maybe it’s your case. I downgraded the driver and it works fine now, no single crash.

I guess it can also depends on specific GPU, mine is Rtx 4090.

Mine stopped crashing when I turned off all overlays, including the ingame steam overlay, rivatuner, discord sharing, and any/all capture methods.

I'm on 7900xtx my drivers are up to date so idk what it is, it just randomly crashes

same here right after i did my driver update i cant go 10min without a crash. i got the 4070 TI super
