Sanctify spell missing

I shared progress with my friend and it seems like the chest for Sanctify spell is already opened at some point. I checked my inventory and it's missing. The chest is already opened. What should I do?

Have your friend create a new character, beat Pieta, invite you to the game, and open the chest. Or just restart your game at a vestige if you haven't gotten very far yet.

Also tell your friend to stop opening chests in your shared world while you're not there... rude.

Thank you! will try that tomorrow. So if I choose multiplayer -> join session (shared progress), my unpicked items and unopened chests will be overwrite by the current state of host world? :(

I also find that some items are missing too, like Devotion's might hammer. There is none in my inventory and when I came back to Bellroom, I can't find the hammer.

When you join shared progress as guest, the host world is copied over yours. So yes, the state of chests, shortcuts etc will be changed to match host.

Make sure you are both using a shared password and the host is using beckon player, not beckon friend, or it won't work right.

Idk what happened w the hammer but you can always have host drop things for you. (except for spells and key items)
