Family sharing
Someone in my family sharing group recently bought this game but I don't see it in my library, though the store page suggests there is sharing. I see the "friend pass" option, which I have never heard of. Is that the way that family sharing works for this game unlike others?

No, the friends pass is so you can freely co-op with others, but your solo progress is restricted to basically the tutorial. The game itself should be under the purchaser's name at the bottom of your library with all their other games. If it's not there you might just have to wait a bit for your library to be updated. Lastly if you accidentaly grab the free pass it'll restrict you from playing the full game over the family sharing. Until you get rid of the friend pass from your account.

It turns out what I'm seeing in his account is the friends pass that I didn't know he downloaded so he could play with another friend. So that's why it isn't in our family share
