Roll a few times or dash a few times or use Sanctify radiance spell, it cuts fire/poison/bleed, heals and even "make sure" the soldier that spills poison upon death and that may get up again, if it goes down and you use Sanctify after he is down he remains down and you get your runes (it dont work when it is the boss variant, I tried after I had destroyed the Umbral Parasite).
