Hello, so I'm quite surprised as I just lost all my progression during the arena mode ?

Is that intended ?

I thought i'd have fun killing bosses in that arena mode, thinking I wouldn't loose my progression since the rewards are not based on any modifier, turns out I was wrong

I don't think its a bug, considering you get items. Assuming you mean crucibles.

Those fights occur in your game world. It's not like a stand alone instance, it just fast travels you to the boss room and spawns the boss, then fast travels you back after. I know this because people in ng+ with the empryean door bug were using the cleric crucible fight as a work around. Theyd start the crucible fight to fast travel to the boss room, then leave the arena and go put a seed down in the church.

The game probably cant tell the difference to you dying there or in the normal boss fight since it's basically the same thing.
