Runes not reflecting on weapons?
Just unlocked runes. Neat I can augment my weapons. I have mostly a pure strength character because screw that magic nonsense. Everyone knows magic isn't real.

Anyways, I currently have two runes, one that increases my strength scaling on weapons, and one that reduces the scaling but increases the raw damage.

I was swapping these runes back and forth on my weapon and noticed the tool tip does not seem to update at all? I have no idea how these runes are impacting my power, outsdie of the Scaling Letter Grade turning Red or Blue, it doesn't go up, or down, just changes colors and the overall power of the weapon, and the damage numbers don't change either?

Am I missing something?

Checked mine last night, didn't see any UI or tool tip change. You'll have to test in real time swapping runes probably.
Yeah, at least some runes work (I forget which ones I actually tested), but they're almost never reflected in the UI other than making scaling bonuses green or red. Attribute bonuses are shown as they should be, but I think that's about it. Pendants/rings that boost attack don't show either. You have to manually attack things, take note of the damage, then switch things, go back, and attack that same enemy to see if the damage changes.

I just decided to throw on what looks good and pray it works...
Yeah, found this confusing at first, that the damage Increases of the runes is not displayed on the weapon stats.
If you read the text of the rune there is generally a hint there how much the scaling is improved. For the scaling runes there you look at the "shield function" text to get how much the scaling on the weapon will be improved. One rune reads "Increases X attribute slightly" and the other one reads "Increases X attribute massively.
This correlates to the "weapon function" and the damage scaling of the rune.
Tested it and it was true.
