How to drop prides of the bucket lord ?

Just did a boss and gathered a pride of the bucket lords by just gathereing a loot on the ground and now I have 5 in my inventory. How can i drop just one to do the related quest ? Tried to load a backup but this game have the magic ability to have an incredible amount of 2 backups that are exactly the same as the current one.

once you pick up five - its over . you can only carry 4 at a time . when you get 4 you take em back to the bucket lord for gear . then once all are done - you get the gold bucket weapon. you have to start the quest over on another play through

And people talk about Souls games having complicated quests with hard to follow ways to complete...

Really makes no sense why the game can not accept 4 buckets then 4 buckets then 4 buckets and just reduce from the amount player is carrying
I guess I wont do it then.

Honestly, will not bother to follow "a guide" to do such quests on a new playthrough, I tried to follow Golden Order quest (Elden Ring) using guide but it was too much of a hassle and I could not be bothered either, thank you for telling me I may have already screwed it
