Can't Join Shared Progress

Did the entire game thus far with a pal. The only places we have not completed are Upper Calrath and The Empyrean. For whatever reason though it won't let me join his session anymore with shared progress anymore, no matter how long we wait.

I can join non-shared but that isn't the issue. Our presumption is it's trying to sync too much data and is just taking an actual eternity. Is our run just screwed now or what?

Are you both using the same password and didnt misspell it?

devs might have broke something in their end, been playing the game from start till end game (right before the last boss fight), and now my friend pass friend is not able to join me even thought we are doing all the shared-progress steps we previously did since the start.

Are you both using the same password and didn't misspell it?

Yes, without a doubt. We know this is the truth because non-shared was joinable, that one works.
