That depends entirely on weapon type. There's no attack speed buffs or stats or anything. The smaller the weapons the faster the attacks. So dual wield daggers, probably.

I saw somewhere that the less you are encumbered the faster your attack speed is gonna be. I did not test it as I always had heavy armour on me however.

Anyway, to the OP I guess the assassin guy with 2 knives would probably suit you the best to start with I assume. But it's gonna be hard until you master your timings.

Assassin for sure. Last play through I played the tanky boi. Smacking people in the face was fun but the rolling was painful.
Rolled assassin this go and the light armor, dual dagger with poison/bleed procs is fun AF. High risk high reward. Gives me World of Warcraft Rogue vibes
ok thanks

I think this was in the 2014 version of the game. At least i dont notice a diffrence between full heavy and full light
Light equipload (your dodges are affected by your carry load) and high stamina regen :D
straight to the point: level up endurance and use light armor, look for the encumberance indicator in the character screen and make ur char go for "light" encumberance.

Yeah i go for light encumberance too, doing ng2 ironman now, light speed is very good.

Fast attack is light weapons what mean "AGIlity"
From there you see what you find better for yourself.
Radiance with Pieta weapon can be good too

Just roll condemned (class doesn't really matter outside of starting equipment and stats, condemned is the most "well rounded" as all stats are the same at 9 across the board) and level up stats accordingly (agi/end, light armor etc)

People will tell you not to pick condemned because "it's hard" but that is almost immediately alleviated via leveling, the only thing that may be difficult is the starting weapon is meh.

If you don't want to do condemned for build purity (or think it might be too difficult) then you're looking at mournstead infantry or exiled stalker
