I have realized that this game is impossible to play without FG because if you don't activate it, it doesn't feel fluid and with a lot of stuttering. Pc with a 4080 super and ryzen 7 7800x3D. I play expedition 33 without any problem

After my very fist session the stutters stopped. It might be a problem with the shader compiler. It might just be UE5, its really hard to tell but honestly i'd probably just blame UE5 since at least its consistent with its stuttering issues.

maybe I'm in the minority. I'm rocking a 4080, cinematic settings, no fake A.I BS frames, and res cranked to 100%.

zero issues.

I do keep hearing people say they're having issues though

I have the current driver so I think I'll use an older version

Yeah man, the stuttering is unbelievable, im so tired of unreal engine 5, every game using it stutters like hell.

You shouldn't be having any issues. You should actually have a low but playable framerate with DLAA.

Framegen will also add input delay, it's not a good thing and will never be useful to those already having framerate issues. The elevator pitch is dishonest at best, at worst a pure fraud.

That is because Expedition 33 is optimized and isn't AAA Frame gen crutch garbage.

Using a 4070 Ti and the game is "smooth" without frame gen. I say smooth in quotes as it does stutter when I'm about to be invaded lol.

Use monitoring to see the fps and ms and you will see that you have stutter as well. Many people are not sensitive to noticing micro stutter. A friend playing with a 4090 has stutter too when walking around the map or in some fights. What drivers do you use and what fps do you get when playing it?
