Strange...
So, I had 248 hours in the game way before the v2.0 came out, and I loved it, despite some little flaws here and there.

And now, I've started a new game, and holy sh*t if the game has changed... the jump button is a nice adition, that's for sure.

But I find the game way easier now. I "miss" a lots of enemies, and that's not necessarilly a complain. But it's kind of... confusing? I guess it might be just me, cause I was used to the "old game".

Anyway, the only thing that has bothered me so far, is the removal of the boss at the begining (I don't remember his name). You know who. The one with 4 arms. Despite the rough transitions, I think he should appear there.

Other than that... I'm still loving the game, and despite everything (rough launch, etc), the developers deserve a lot of praise for all the job they put into improving the game even to this day.

Cheers!

When you create a new character, the last step allows you to choose modifers. Choose prenerf enemy density, maybe throw in a couple randomizers, and enjoy.

The bosses are still push overs but theyre going to add one for them too I think.

Honestly the game is such a better experience once you start doing new game +

i started a new playthrough and the game seems a lot easier now. took me multiple tries to kill most bosses in the release version, but in the rerun i got almost all of them in the first try. don't think i've gotten all that much better in the meantime.

I never played before 2.0. I'm slightly envious. I parried Pieta into oblivion first try lmao

Yes, I know that. But that modifier was introduced way before the 2nd enemy reduction. Picking it up will increase the number of enemies by A LOT (like on release), so I don't know if it would work (some middle ground).

Anyway, I wasn't complaining, just commenting on that.

Same. The mounted boss (I don't know his name) always killed me a bunch of times, and in this run (v2.0), I've killed him first time without any trouble and really quick.

Funny... I used to parry Pieta a lot in my previous runs (before v2.0), and for some reason, this time I've failed a lot of times (but enough times to kill her).

Cheers!
