Light reaper Dagger Skill

i was trying to get the lightreaper dagger skill but i already killed the light reaper on his 2nd appearance, before upper calrath encounter. Will the RESET GAME 0 also reset that mistake? or should make a new character for it?

Yes- NG+0 is just a new fresh game with all your stuff intact. It's great for modifier runs.

No. You keep everything and start the game from the start. Everything you have intact.

Just keep playing and go for a NG+1. Its not that hard and will help with Vigor since you get a nice increase. I did 2 reset at NG+0 when i new nothing about the game and i regret i didnt went straight to a NG+1. You can select the modifiers anyway so you can keep all vestiges.

I'd do NG+0 If you want to do a all modifier run for achivos. That's about it.

thanks for the offer, but i do have the daggers already. I was just not sure, if restarting my current game to 0 would make me get the dagger skill requirement. Since i already failed one of the pre-requisite quest for the dagger skill. thanks for the people reply, it made sense now on one of the video i saw when the creator was already using the dagger, and he re-run the quest necessary for the dagger skill.

Oh, I didn't realize you needed to do a quest for the ability, thought you just needed both daggers to use it.

Edit: It also just occurred to me that if you already killed him, you have the remembrance to buy them anyway... so nvm lol

for what i have read, we still need to have it to +10, and succeed killing the light reaper on the 3rd encounter together with the paladin, during the upper calrath. so i need to die atleast 2x from the boss. is this still correct?
