Can't continue Shared Progress Campaign with my Friend from yesterday

I'm still on Friend Pass and my Friend own the Game.
Yesterday we started our Shared Progress Campaign after completing the Tutorial.
We stopped yesterday night after reaching upper Calrath and today while following all the steps to continue our shared Progress we can't seem to be able to matchmake properly.
As a side note we can join session but not on the Shared Progress Option.
Any fixes for that 'cause it's a total bummer that we can't continue our shared adventure.

One question though, if I decide to buy the game, would it fix this issue?

We have constant disconnects in upper Carlath, don't know why tho

It’s appear that this problem happen with the lattest patch . Me and my gf have the first playthrough with the game but the matchmaking doesn’t seem to work eventhough the password and everything is perfectly fine 😢 we spent hours to figure it out then we got tired and decide to pick it up later . Such a mood killer experience
