Talented dev team, but mid environment and NPC design
None of the areas are fun, it’s all a slog! The NPCs, enemies all look meh. I hope their sequel they can pull off fun environments and more unique NPCs, enemies. :suzuko1: I’m sick of parkour and umbral it got old fast :sakurabeachmomokolaugh:

Mournstead has everything what a classic soulslike needs to have. Dungeons, Castles, Swamps and its all interconnected. This is classic souls dark fantasy rpg with Berserk vibes.

I agree it had everything! But In my opinion it was bland, and frustrating with falling to my death so many times. All though I loved the first church you come across and the creepy singing in the background just before the boss fight, I wish it was a whole area to explore not just a small church. They have great ideas that they can build upon, more creepy enemies and expand on interior areas instead of areas jumping from platform to platform and soul flaying platforms.
