1. Goto properties of the game on steam and remove the DLC LOTF - Full entitlement
2. verify the game files
3. go back into DLC and Enable the DLC LOTF - Full entitlement
4. go to the file folder and disable run as administrator on the games executable
5. enjoy the game.
cant be to sure that this was the sole reason it fixed for me , so i posted all the previous steps i did ( perhaps it helped )
That said, I got it working, though I wouldn't say I know what truly caused this issue.
I moved my entire Steam installation out of Progamfiles (x86) and into a new file that was directly in the C/ drive, just called it steam games (though any name that isn't already in use seems to work fine).
Again, I'm no tech wizard and found someone else talking about it.
That said, for those that want to try and move the steam installation out of Programfiles (x86) or anywhere else for that matter:
Foreword, note that you'll need to log in as if it's a new machine that steam is loading from when everything is done. Also, I needed sync all my save data for each game after I was done, though it all worked fine.
1. Exit the Steam app
2. Go into the main Steam file installation, keep only steamapps (where the games are installed) and the steam.exe itself, then delete everything else, though if you delete these two you'll need to restore them from the bin or even redownload everything.
3. Open a new folder in the drive you want to move the Steam installation into, just call it Steam Games (or any name that isn't in use elsewhere on the drive)
4. Cut (not copy) the Steam file (that now only has steamapps and the steam.exe inside it)
5, Paste the Steam/ file into this new folder.
6. Launch the steam.exe file, this should then download and intall everything like normal in this new place.
7. Log in.
Every setting that you had from before (like if you changed what button is needed to bring up the steam overlay) will need to changed again, and at least for me, any desktop shortcuts will need to be made anew.
If you're unsure about this, then please look this up on google or whatever and confirm that someone else already had a written guide or something. I know I read one (in a post about skyrim modding or something), but I can't find it again even though it was like an hour ago.
then move it to the new folder or drive
