Increase Enemy Density Modifier not working
I am on my NG+ and I have the Increase Enemy Density Modifier enabled and I have not noticed an increase in enemies and I am halfway through the game. Am I missing something? My other modifiers are working just fine. Does it not kick in until you reach a certain point in the game or is something wrong with my game files?

On regular new game, was it already on? It just sets up the enemy count based on the pre-nerf enemy count and placement.

It was not. Missed applying the modifiers the first time around. Now I have a few on and this one seems to not have changed anything. Is there a way to get it to work on NG+ that I am just missing?

you can check your active modifiers at any vestige. have you checked if it was even activated?

other than that, something i noticed the past week: whenever i joined random people with Shared progression: my modifiers would be overwritten leaving most of my characters modifierless and without a way to reactive them from what ive seen.
have you done shared progression with someone who doesnt have the increased enemy density? that would explain it aswell.
you can see if your character has shared progression enabled by clicking "load game"
on the right you will see your stats and gear aswell as your name in big letters and the person you share progression with in small letters underneath it.

those are atleast 2 issues i can think of that would affect your modifiers. other than that the modifier itself works fine, so if neither of those points is the reason it might be a Bug.

Yes. It is activated. Unable to attach screen shot to verify. Have not played any shared progression. Heck, on this play through, I have not even co-op with my friend either. wondering if something else is afoot. Maybe NG++ as you can't just toggle modifiers unless starting over

I only recommend doing shared progress if you plan to play start to finish with a friend.

Yes. That is the only thing that has changed. Nothing else. So I am confused on where these extra enemies are

Just for testing, make two test characters. One with Pre-nerf mod and one without and make it to the windmill Vestige (Marco the Ax) and make note of the number of enemies. For me I noticed the enemy density.

Yeah i think 2.0 removed a few of the "tougher" mobs from certain areas.
