Friend Pass - Cant progress through specific area, butterfly wall

so it was working just fine yesterday, in fact I had gone to this area with the host before absolutely no issues. But today at Vestige of Chabui, going up the ladder, a butterfly/moth wall impedes me from going forward. We tried restarting our games and reconnecting and manually going through the hub to this location without warping, didn't fix it either.

Can I do anything about this or just nah?

you can't do anything about it except walking far enough from the host so the game teleports you back and therefore passing the butterflies wall

if im not mistaken, that's the only weird/glitched wall you'll ever encounter.

You need to move further past the wall to pull in your co-op buddy. I don't know if its a glitch or to help prevent greifing from other players joining your world

It's a bug. There's another bug just in that boss fight as well were the co-op partner doesn't get the healing item upgrade for killing them. My brother and me put the game down after that and are waiting for bug fixes now.

that worked, thank you! What an odd bug. I assume its some weird failsafe from the boss barrier below.

I managed to climb ladders in coop by pressing V while climbing ... :shrug:
