However, because it's an easier game, the developers should realize what their product is now and remove random PVP, which will simply frustrate the new players they seek to entice.
One part is that the movement and combat is much better with the 2.0.
The main part is that enemies are much weaker now.
It's too easy now. And enemy variety is too low, yes.
But the world is very nice.
The main problem beside less fun is, that I play mostly in Umbral now, because you get more exp and you don't have to check for hidden paths with the lantern doing so.
But in Umbral the world doesn't look as good.
The idear of the game was that you only switch to Umbra after death for a second chance or to check hidden path with more risk.
This concept is undermined now.
It wasn't like this at release. Its like there is no co-op scaling or something.
make a character and select advanced modifiers, then you can set the enemy placements and such as it was pre nerf.
i wouldnt have bought it otherwise
I hope they add a modifier with old difficulty so that everyone can have fun again.
i agree
options are always welcome. its one of the building blocks of gaming, on pc in particular.
I also went quite early in a high level area that you normally don't do until later. Originally, I didn't get very far here, or only with great difficulty. Now, it plays more like the normal-level areas in their release state. A little easier, perhaps.
Out of laziness, I almost only play in Umbral now, so I don't have to use the lantern all the time and so that it's at least a little more difficult.
