Game won't run (AntiCheat -Solution 2.0 inside) Updated
I click it to play, all that comes up is a stupid anti cheat screen that says waiting for game.

Game won't launch.

Now I'm verifying integrity of files. Still nothing.

If F2P friend pass still working?

The explanation is at 4:50 minutes into the video (the content is in Portuguese but you can use the English dub).

I also put the game in the exceptions of my antivirus and in the Windows firewall just to make sure. My NVidia driver was up to date

This is all it does?

Then I get a windows warning about anti cheat error code x0000002 , I click it and it brings this up.

Are you guys ghosting me or is this a scam?
I am getting the same. Wanted to give this game a shot and it won't even launch.
Same issue here.
Highly annoying
I was having the same issue. Ended up having to add an exception in my antivirus for the entire ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Lords of the Fallen folder to get it working.

Lots of people are having the same problem. I ended up giving up this morning and getting a refund. I play lots of games and this is the only that that has this fault. EAC clashes with something but I turned off my anti-virus and made sure all the Lords of Fallen folders were in the exempted section of Defender ... and still no game - it's super frustrating.

There are a load of links about this - some have got quite detailed advice - just scroll through and look for 'BROKEN GAME DO NOT BUY' of my link about getting a refund

I'm wondering if it will only let you play if you have a friend that owns it, none of my friends do.

I just un installed it, if I cannot play to check it out, then I will wait for when I'm ready to purchase the full version. I was only interested as people keep telling me its like an elden ring game.

This worked with Avast!

I've tried for about a day to get it to work. Adding exclusions for the folder, letting it through the firewall, restarting, uninstalling, compatibility mode, and many more things. Still I run into the same issue. It loads up until it says "waiting for the game" and then just disappears without mentioning what the error is. I don't even know if it's EAC because it doesn't tell me why it's crashing.

Edit: About 20 mins after I posted, I updated the NVIDIA app. I thought I updated the drivers before but turns out launching it from the NVIDIA app did the trick. I had read all about the CPU issues in the past and antivirus and the firewall issues. Turns out it was graphics for me. Try this idea if it's not antivirus or firewall.

Adding it to your anti-virus' Exceptions list worked for me after literally ALL day of banging my head against the wall trying to get this to work

Nothing seemed to work for me, Driver update, anti virus exceptions, compatibility mode etc, game would crash during startup. I was about to refund and then decided to consult with the all-mighty Claude. Claude suggested I do the below steps and now I can launch the game and it runs fine for me. Hope this helps someone.

Fully Remove Streamline Framework Files

Navigate ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Lords of the Fallen\LOTF2\Plugins\Streamline\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64\
Rename or temporarily move these files:

sl.interposer.dll
sl.reflex.dll

Rename DLSS Files (as they might still be loading Reflex indirectly)

Navigate to: ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Lords of the Fallen\LOTF2\Plugins\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64\
Rename nvngx_dlss.dll to nvngx_dlss.dll.bak

(verifying game files will probably add these back)

Thank You RBChoks

Using steam to find folder:

So taking those steps I still got errors along the way such as:

When I clicked the first two boxes then:

Windows violation:

Meanwhile, this video is still processing, be sure to check back later to enjoy the show.

I left a perman link to RBC's video for the assist.

After checking all 2 boxes from all 3 files I tried running again and got this error finally:

Which I created the exception, and then clicked the play button from steam launcher, and was able to play.
