Easy anti cheat error.

I've looked at the other discussions both on here and on reddit about easy anti cheat and I can't figure out what to do. I've included LOTF2 as an exclusion in my antivirus (I have Norton), verified my game files, uninstalled, and reinstalled multiple times. I can't load the game at all.
EDIT: Before I excluded only the LOTF2.exe but thanks to matherzn4, the entire LOTF folder needs to be included in the exclusion with Norton. This allowed the game to launch for me. Hope this helps!

Same for me and my friend, how do we fix this devs :EDIT: there is a fix for Norton users, you have to add the entire LOTF folder in your steam directory to exclusions. thats means like D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common/lords of the fallen. it has to be encompassing the entire folder, not the launcher

You have Norton that is a virus. Do yourself a serious favor, and uninstall that malware from your system. Windows has a security suite.. that already does everything Norton does.. and isn't garbage like Norton.

My windows defender firewall is triggered by EAC but I cannot get Defender to recognise it? I have cleared Lords of Fallen thru Defender but still not working

You can bypass EAC if you are willing to play offline and lose out on Steam achievements. This will not fix any issue or error caused by antivirus software.

1. Go into ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Lords of the Fallen\LOTF2\Binaries\Win64
2. Create a plain text file and name it "steam_appid"
3. In this text file, type in "1501750" without quotes. Save and close the file
4. Create a desktop shortcut for LOTF2-Win64-Shipping.exe
5. With Steam running, luse the shortcut to launch the game

If you have an RTX 40 or 50 series card and want to use DLSS frame generattion, you can add "-DLSSFG" at the end of the Target parameter in the shortcut, so it looks something like

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lords of the Fallen\LOTF2\Binaries\Win64\LOTF2-Win64-Shipping.exe" -DLSSFG
