Black Screen on Launch
Hey Team, I've asked this everywhere, including the discord, and no one is giving me an answer with is disheartening considering I wanted to play the 2.0 update.

Does anyone have a fix for the game having a black screen on startup? I've tried adding the launch option to skip the intro, reinstalling EAC, launching the game as an admin, verifying game files and nothing is working. I've just reinstalled the game and deleted the local files before doing so, nothing changed. I tried refreshing the steam cache as well and I've had no luck.

All my drivers are up to date as well. Any tips to fixing this? It worked when i played it back in 2023 but now it doesnt.

If you have a controller connected, disconnect it and wait for the game to load up and then connect it. That worked for me.

I didn't have any controller connected, so it wasnt that.

However, I use Norton 360, and disabling behavioural protection seems to have worked. It was also affecting another game I own by making it freeze on startup. I turned it back on and the game is loading in now.
