It's not very difficult to understand, friends pass can only play the game by joining a friend that has the full game purchased and is playing on that game.
Friends pass will only only let you play to a certain point.
You're basically playing the demo version instead of playing the game you already bought lmao and the 2.0 patch is already applied to your original game.
Or if you're referring to the lords of the fallen that released in 2014 this is not the same game.
Did you purchase lords of the fallen 2014? because that is not the same game so if you have not already purchased lords of the fallen which was released in 2023 then yes you do have to buy it because it isn't the same game.
You really thought they'd update a 2014 game to 2023 standards for you for free?
PATCHES (clue for you. Not a GAME, as you suggest) invariably come free as they repair/enhance the game and should come even more so when the game was a resounding failure on release and never got addressed...
I'm not paying twice for the same game. By the sounds, You think I should be paying £25 for the broken 2014 version and then have to fork out another £16 for technically the same game that goes on to receive all the patches 2014 should have been given..
I buy ALL my games, son, and I also know when something is a bit of a con. Pity you don't know the difference..
And. Son. Over the past 20 years I've spent over $14,000 on games on steam. Listen. If you're poor. That's okay. You can just say that.
Do you need me to send you a gift copy? $16 is nothing to me. It means nothing. It changes nothing. I got you if you are poor and nearly homeless. THat's very sad.
I mean, when you look at some gameplay videos and compare these both LotF games pretty much everyone are able to tell that they are very different games.
