New lamp guidance feature ?

Hey, how do I use the new guidance feature of the lamp where it shows me where to go next ? I cannot seem to find it.

If you got a xbox controller its LT+A .. Make sure you have lantern selected the moths show you nearest shrine... I`ve gave up on it again personally I`m at a boss where I gotta grab their soul (stupid idea that doesnt seem to work for me) so I`m out.

Getting filtered by the easiest souls game because you can't soulflay a boss... sounds like you've stumbled into the wrong genre.
