same issue
had the same issue, was resolved by deactivating anti-virus,
or you could create an exception for the game inside the anti-virus.

I think that this is less of the game's fault and developer's fault and more of a blame on Epic Games, the creator of the Easy Anti-Cheat. I think that Easy Anti Cheat is so piss poor made and it's severely affecting the inner organs of your PC that it causes things like blue screens of death. Almost every game that I own that has Easy Anti cheat in it will cause a blue screen of death and the people at Epic Games are so useless the best thing that they had to give me advice to be able to fix this problem with Easy Anti cheat is just hard reset your entire hard drive or SSD completely wipe it and reinstall Windows 10 or 11 or whatever you have and since it's a huge hassle I'm not going to do it so all I can say is for future game developers they really shouldn't use Easy Anti cheat it's terribly designed and really ruins computers and games.
I have the same issue, i suspect its casue EAC dosent like ds4windows. But its only this one that does, i play other games with EAC no problem so who knows. So frustrating.

Edit: ds4windows was not the issue, it persists after closing the program.

Edit: turning of my anti-virus got the game working....

Had the same issue and fixed it by white listing the game folder on my anti virus. just try turning your anti virus off for 5 min and see if the game opens then you know that is the cause. Oh before you open the game you will need to uninstall and re-install the anti cheat t re set it. very easy to do as there are two bat files in the main game folder for this purpose.
Same issue here :steamfacepalm::steamhappy::steamsad:

how do you uninstall and reinstall easy anti-cheat?
Navigate ...
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Lords of the Fallen\LOTF2\Plugins\Streamline\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64\
Rename or temporarily move these files:

sl.interposer.dll
sl.reflex.dll

Rename DLSS Files (as they might still be loading Reflex indirectly)

Navigate to: ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Lords of the Fallen\LOTF2\Plugins\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64\
Rename nvngx_dlss.dll to nvngx_dlss.dll.bak

(verifying game files will probably add these back)
