can't sprint or climb ladders

playing the friend pass version, after a certain point I lost the ability to sprint or climb ladders. Climbing would glitch out and prevent me from moving up past a certain point. Strange because it was working fine for a while, but even after restarting our games and me reconnecting it still wouldn't work. Any tips?

try finding a ladder in your own world then joining the friend who has the main game that worked for us

I had my friend do this and it worked. It also works for consoles

had this issue, i launched my own game solo (where i could sprint) then had my friend invite me to his game (while i was in solo world) and it seemed to work.

same problem, i cant open solo game because of the friend pass. :(

The person joining the game has to start it alone first then join. This fixes the issue every time.
