Created exceptions in my AV and firewall, no joy. Full disabled my AV and Firewall, nothing.
The strange thing is the time between the EAC splash disappearing and Steam saying the game is not running and allowing relauch is significantly different each time I try. Sometimes it's seconds, sometimes it's upto a minute. Something just does not want to start up, it seems.
Depending on your security program, you might have to create an exception in it's anti virus for just the LOTF2.exe file. Not a firewall exception, although that may also help, but definitely an exception in the Antivirus program is required.
If you've done that and it's still not working, then there's two other exe files you'll need to create an exception for. Both are located in the game folder:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Lords of the Fallen\LOTF2\Binaries\Win64
And the exe files I've created exceptions for are 'LOTF2-Win64-Shipping.exe' and 'LOTF2-Win64-Test.exe' . I made the initial exception for the LOTF2.exe file alone, and got the issue recurring. made exceptions for the other two exe files and the game finally launched up.
Dunno if I was just lucky and managed to finally crack the code for my particular set up, but thought it was something to mention
Thank you! This worked perfectly for me using Norton 360 for Gamers and adding the exceptions as suggested!
