With the altar where the boss "Tancred Master of Castigations" is located, can anything be done?

I reached the location where the boss "Tancred Master of Castigations" is and came across this altar. I can interact but nothing happens, can I do anything more with it?

Need to defeat the boss first, after that in the bossroom you can claim the weapon and start radiant armor quest at that altar.

That altar is part of the content added after launch, in this case you need to find the mace located in the cell behind the Tancred boss and pray at the altar with the right gesture. Then farm X number of mobs, reach the other 5 altars, pray, farm and so on to each of them. Once this is done you will be able to face an additional boss and obtain the new armor set.

In case you need an extra guide, I'll leave you the link to my video (it doesn't have commentary), but you can find various guides on the quest online.
