Easier Game modifiers
Hi,
with the introduction of modifiers, I was wondering if we could maybe get some modifiers that make the game easier. Like monsters deal less dmg and have less HP.
I love the setting of the game but I dont have the time to get good at it or am too exhausted when I have the time. Would be really nice :)

One way to make it easier is to do multiplayer. just an idea :)

Sadly this isn't really a solution for me. I tried playing with a friend, but we are both not a fan of how coop is handled in the game with the second player bot being able to open chests, talk to NPCs, initiate cutscenes, does not receive achievements, cant progress his own story etc. and I dont want to play with randoms

Maybe getting a ng+0 save would do the trick

Cheers!

There isn't really a modifier for this, but you can still make the game easier:

Create a char with custom modifiers.
Even if you don't select a modifier, still play with them enabled.
This allows you to reset your game on each vestige.
You start the game again from the start... but you still have every single item, except quest items.

What this means is:
You can farm the upgrade material for your healing item right at the start.
Plus, when you select the modifier for random item placement, you can find all sort of cool stuff right from the start.
Just play to a point where you aren't comfortable anymore and reset your world.

Items get randomized again and you keep what you've found.
If you put a bit of time behind it, you can start out with a super beefy char with all sorts of cool stuff.

Plus, select the modifier for pre-upgraded loot.
So when you find new stuff, you don't need to unlock the smith to make it worth using.

So, coop was designed this way from the ground up; not "both people get progression" but your buddy can join you in *your* progression from start to finish. Just let him finish your story, and then you finish his.. you guys are supposedly "buddies", whats the issue? Dont say you dont get *any* drops because I get drops all the time in coop.

Playing the same passage twice does not feel great to us. I understand that it wasnt designed like this, but we simply do not like the way it is. Feels more like a chore trying to beat something we have already beaten previously just so the other person gets what they should have already earned once. If you enjoy it though, more power to you :)

Thanks for the suggestions, will give it a shot!

Thanks for asking this question, I thought they had easier modifiers but I see I was wrong!

Pre-upgraded loot is perhaps the best modifier for playthroughs as it would cut a lot of time out of farming vigor for materials.
