Random Items modifier

This modifier seems to remove the quintessence upgrades completely. 10 hrs into a new play through not 1 found...seems like a pretty big oversight. Anyone else run into this?

I definitely found some, to be exactly: I already had 2 before defeating Pieta and found more later on...
I also had one Delarium Chunk in that area ;)

The one thing I really would like to find is a Rebirth Chrysalis though... (I'm in lower Calrath now)

Maybe I don't understand how it works, but it seems to me that this option allows you to collect objects that are already fully upgraded... Basically, in my current Iron Mode run (with random items modifier) I've already found a lot of fully upgraded items.

one of the mods gives you pre-levelled weapon drops based on your character level: a high level character will find maxxed out weapons, but a fresh one will start with regular weapons and fresh drops get better and better (I had +3 weapon drops in the swamp before the Hushed Saint for example)

Well, it appears all drops besides quest items are randomised so legitimately it's possible to drop all 10 quintessences in a row or drop none in the entire playthrough. As would random part imply in the name randomizer.

Its all RNG, I've gotten literally 5-7 quintessence in multiple run attempts, but I'm also playing with ironman mode so I have a higher chance of getting good stuff when dying over and over. I have like +7 heals and have yet to get past the pilgrim area.

With all options active, including iron mode, in Pilgrim's Pearch I had to fight both kinrangr guardians and proselyte enemies. I had to go there twice because the first time I forgot to reach the Fitzroy Gorge beacon. I'm currently at the bell door, and I'll have to light the beacon without using seeds, I don't want to come through here a third time.. this place is a mess with these enemies.

P.s. there are no active vestiges other than Skybridge.

Also it seems that item randomization makes it possible to miss bowl of reflections?
Or was it just my case that item dropped to the ground and vanished.

If you mean the item that allows you to get boss items; Then no, it should be in the spot is it normally found out. But don't take my word for it as I've only gotten to it once so far with the randomize loot on.

LOL thats the fun of everything being random. You could get decent RNG with enemy placements or you could get really unlucky and get some 5-6 end game monsters all in the same zone. I like it because it requires more tactics and strategies on the fly rather then brainlessly running through the levels.

I know how you feel though, I had a run very similar to yours and I almost made it past to get the blacksmith, but I died before activating the elevator lol.

I was going to do no vestiges but I did the 2nd option where every other vestige is gone, just to not be too brutal on myself.

Ive found like 5 quintessences already (in Lower calrath at vestige), and 2 chunks! Its just Random man.

I realized that I shouldn't go back to Fitzroy Gorge, I thought one of the beacons was there but I'm only missing two... the penitence tower and the abbey. Better that way XD
