Enemies in the open world are a bit more frustrating than usual (especially when they ambush you), but I really enjoy playing this game.
Its not they are possibly over-exaggerating specific issues they may be having with the game. Some people have performance issues and crashes, while others like me have not had any issues since launch and the game runs rather well and looks gorgeous.
This is probably one of the most polished souls-likes I have played in a while, and its pretty meaty in terms of length as well so there it tons to do in a single playthrough.
There is pretty much nothing "early access" about the game in its current state. Now on release the devs treated the game LIKE a EA game where they nerfed and changed core mechanics a little too fast because of a some complainers online, but that was at launch, now its in a pretty excellent state if I say so myself.
