Umbral really sucks
After this game got to gamepass, i gave it a try and i will probably try to beat it, but this umbral stuff really sucks hard. I feel like i'm constantly swapping between real wolrld und umbral, oh wait, it's not just a feeling, it's simply like that. If it was one or two levels using this umbral world, but the whole game?! And from a visual standpoint, it also looks boring too.

Bad DesignChoice IMO.

You don't loss half health it becomes wither which can be recovered by attacking enemies, even then some eyes you find can reduce that when slotted in the lamp secondary so its manageable. I find it more annoying to deal with parasites that give passive healing or damage immunity to enemies.

"it's bad cause i can't git gud"
That's all im getting from this
How does one get better at random enemy spawning, while fighting tough enemies with limited movement in some cases?

Not by you.
You don't even have the game on steam.

No, but on Playstation 3 LOL
What did you mean by this? The game isn't on ps4 let alone 3. Explain
umbral is a way to expand the game content, and while it does that... it should do it more. Somtimes I check the umbral, or most often, I check umbral, but theres nothing new there really, and I feel like I wasted my time. Well, now that Im on NG+, i know if its umbral time or not, so I dont feel that way at all, but at first I used to. Would have helped if I learned earlier that funny grey moths in the real world = umbral secret.

Expand? The plan is used for either progression some hidden items and removing parasites. That’s all they do with the concept.

the game lets you know when there's something in umbral. you don't have to scan everything or remember where things were from the previous playthrough.
if you want to get the most loot out of the game, it's mandatory to visit each level in umbral. And if you want to complete any "sidequests" or whatever you want to call them, you have to watch youtube-videos. Don't do this, before doing this, don't use the elevator, go that way....It's probably more personal taste, to like cryptic quests guided by Youtube Videos. A normal person playing this game can never finish any of those quests.
The only sidequest worth anything is umbral ending which has the most obtuse steps to complete. Otherwise no you don’t have to revisit each place in umbral, since it’s needed for progression you’ll end up getting all the umbral items in each area first time.
