Still some easy to notice bugs and annoyances - Or am I the only one seeing this?
So, I took a long break from this game as it seemed to need some more patches. It looks like those patches came regularly since release, but when trying to get back into it, I noticed that some (in my opinion) very easily spotted bugs and annoyances were still the same as back then. So now I would like to know if I am the only one noticing those things?

I get that these are not exactly game breaking, but they are also not difficult to spot, and should not take too much time away from other things that need fixing. All of these could leave a bad impression on someone trying the game for the first time, so I would think half a year after release, those should have been polished out. Especially with the apparent amount of patches released since then.

Drivers

Starting the game, it tells me I should update my driver. I have the AMD driver 23.11.1, and the game recommends 23.10.2. 23.10.2 is not available for my card, and is older than the driver I am running, so stop having the game tell me I should update it.
I know I could update it again to 24.1.1, but this message also showed while my current driver was the newest available version, and it is clearly more up to date than the recommended one, which again is not even available for my card.

Main menu

When entering the main menu, whether that be just after starting the game, or when returning to it from another menu or by exiting the game, after about 1-2 seconds (seemingly after a background animation played out) it resets the menu selection to the top choice ("Continue"), and whatever I may have selected in the meantime is disregarded. So it does happen a lot that I want to go to the settings, or to load a different character or just quit the game. I select the menu option I want, and confirm by pressing A/X on my controller, then I watch as the menu resets and the game loads me into the last saved game.
Sometimes I remember in the moment that this happens and stop myself in time, but it feels bad either way.
Either don't do the reset, or don't activate the menu until it is done doing whatever causes the reset.

Character creation

A lot of it does not work at all for female characters, for example, there is no way to fine tune facial features on females (or rather the feature does absolutely nothing, while it seems to work most of the time on males), and a lot of the face textures have wrong looking shadows.
The choices for cheekbones... most of them look almost the same, making pretty much every female character look very similar.
Selecting certain facial features may prevent others from being changed, until the whole character is reset.

Even for male characters some of the features do not always work.
Any feature that uses the triangle mixing UI (again including the "fine tune" mechanic) is buggy, it often seems to counteract the movement of my stick dragging the selector up when I pull down etc... and sometimes the "fine tune" one just stops working as if I had pressed the back button(B/Circle), so I have to reactivate it by pressing Y/Triangle again.

Why is there no way to quickly set all tattoos to "none"? There are over 20 tattoos and 5 places to put them on the face and another 6 places for the body. And every time I open the editor or switch body types it generates a new one with tattoos. If I want a clean slate for my character, I have to go through all of them individually to select the empty one.

And why the hell does the pupil color start with the "Copy main color" checkbox checked? If I want that, I can click the "Copy Main Color" checkbox myself, but usually I'd want the pupil to be black, and not colored. If I just click through the default options, the settings are seemingly disregarded (see also the next point), but oping the menu for it and choosing a color directly changes that.
So every time I set an eye color myself, I have to uncheck the checkbox, and then scroll down the brightness bar on it, which should be the default.

A lot of the options (f.E. eye color, tattoos) start with different settings than what it shows on screen, which means as soon as I start changing the settings to fine tune the appearance, it completely changes to a different look, now using the settings in the menu instead of whatever values it had in the background before. So, to make small changes to the presented look, I have to first find out what the settings should actually be, for it to look like it did before I started changing settings.

Sometimes when trying to start the game after naming the character while using a controller, nothing happens, no matter which buttons I press or hold. I then have to use the mouse to click and hold the play button.

Weapon animations

All weapons when wielded in the left hand are held awkwardly way too far down on the handle. It is not as noticeable on spears and axes, but any kind of sword just looks awful in the left hand. This should be a very easy fix.
Some people might be able to ignore this, I can't. It keeps nagging me as long as its on screen. Its a bit similar to the uncanny valley to me, it just looks wrong.

The one handed grievous strike with a greatsword does not look like an attack one would do with a greatsword. It looks much more fitting for something like a club, or maybe an axe. It also seems to go over the head of many enemies, instead of being aimed at their body.
Actually I think this one was introduced with a patch that added more attack animations, as I believe to remember the same attack looking pretty good (and very different from now) in the beginning.
