Performance is still terrible?
I put this game down months ago and know theyve been doing tons of patches.

But my 4080, 5800X3D is still stuttering like crazy. 1% FPS lows can be in the single digits. ill go from 140 to 50 fps. Its unplayable!

I play it since nearly 400 hours, 4080@7700X, maxed out 1440p (native) or 4k/DLSS quality and NEVER dips below 60fps.

I've found that after launching for the first time in a while (or following a GPU driver update) I have to wait about 5-10 minutes in game for the stutters to stop. When it does I get a solid 60fps maxed out settings, and I mean solid. Never once dips below 60fps.
My guess is there is some background shader optimisation that's occurring and I guess on some setups (for those lucky enough) it doesn't have much of an impact and on others it does.
Either way, not a deal breaker for me - although it is pain. I would have preferred they actually show a shader optimisation message of some kind, so at least people can understand the reason for the stuttering and rapid drop in fps.

The first Loadingscreen you will see, the one with the moths after choose your character, is the loading screen behind which the shader caching is hidden. I don't understand why caching supposedly extends into the active game for some people?!

With RTSS activated you can see exactly when shader caching ends, and it STOPS if you enter the gameworld.

After the last update, I can play the game without issues for the first time since launch (the last update hit the spot). The shader caching is whatever.

Try disabling Rebar for me disabling it and E-cores got rid of stuttering.

Never had such problems with a quite old desktop and Rog Ally. Most problems with performance come from poorly assembled rigs.

In your case, your CPU bottlenecks heavily your GPU (by approx 30%), so you may consider this before complaining of performances on this or any other game.

Try this tool before buying expensive and useless gear: https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/result/1fN1cy/5D/microsoft-flight-simulator-x/2560x1440/

Yeah. optimisation is still weak. Game doesn't feels smooth no matter what setting you use

just came back to try this game again with my friend. havent played since release and im shocked that no matter what i do i cant run the game on a stable 60 fps while rocking a 4090 and i9 13900k :/ kinda ruined the fun, playing with constant stutters is unbearable for me personally

Cry babies like you are the reason why no real progress is made on this game. I use a 3060 and this game runs better for me than elden ring does at 1440p.
