Big statue near Abbot Vermoff's key

Hi!
There's a big statue in the room where you find Abbot Vernoff's key. I found that key a few days ago, and when I returned there today, there's a prompt to interact with the statue.
What is it about? Does it have to do with a quest? Is is a bug? 🤔

it's tied to some lore armour quests but nothing really part of the main game. They were added as patches or seasonal content. You can find the details how to get these armours or secret bosses in fextralife or internet/youtube

It's a secondary mission that you can carry out (if I remember correctly) in a game aimed at the Radiance ending, the objective is to kill X enemies for each shrines. Each shrine requires farming on a specific enemy.
I put the quest together in a video, I cut out the grind so as not to make it too long but for each shrine you can see which enemies and how I faced them.
